The scavenger hunt took place on student orientation day, Aug. 26, in place of the traditional Olympics Day. Students were split into different-colored teams that no longer represented countries. At the start of the hunt, teams passed a hula-hoop challenge before receiving bags of clues and props. Teams had one hour to decipher the clues and finish all the objectives, which included taking a photo of the entire team on the big toy slide, figuring out where “Ted” is and singing the Country Day fight song with Neil the skeleton. In the end, black team finished first, winning treats, Country Day water bottles and a discount on the upcoming Homecoming dance.
