Spotlight: Q & A with new freshman David Boley

Freshman David Boley recently moved to El Dorado Hills from Connecticut. He is attending SCDS with his two younger brothers, Kevin and Sam, and is a member of the soccer team.

Q: What hobbies do you have?

A: I like to play airsoft, baseball and video games with my friends.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

A: Chicago because that’s where my family is.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about California?

A: The weather. It’s so much warmer here than in Connecticut, and I get to wear shorts and T-shirts more.

Q: How is SCDS different from your old school?

A: It’s really small, which allows you to get to know more people on a personal level. My school in Connecticut was public, and I had over 500 kids in my grade alone.

Q: Why did you move to California and how difficult was the move?

A: We moved because my dad got a new job at Aerojet. As for making the move, it wasn’t very hard at all. The only thing I really miss about Connecticut is my friends, but I’m making a lot of new friends and I really like it out here.
