Alexa Mathisen is a junior reporter. She invests a lot of time in sports and is currently a starter on the varsity volleyball, basketball and soccer teams. Besides athletic activities, Alexa is junior class president and a PreMed Club co-founder. Outside of school, Alexa is a Junior Volunteer/Intern at Mercy General Hospital and plays competitive volleyball. She is a recent transfer student to Country Day and looks forward to her first year on the Octagon staff.
