Q&A: Freshman McGregor Scott enjoys Boy Scouts, Legos

McGregor Scott is a new freshman from Folsom.

Q: Who would win in a fight, ninjas or pirates?

A: Pirates always seemed to be just a bunch of guys who were in a ship and looked for treasure. Ninjas, on the other hand, were highly trained, tactical and stealthy warriors who always knew what they were doing. So ninjas.

Q: Good answer. What school did you attend before SCDS?

A:  Golden Hills School, a very similar school with two primary differences: it’s 1st-8th and has a much smaller campus.

Q: What do you do in your spare time?

A: Outside of school, I like to build Legos and play video games. I also do Boy Scouts.

Q: Legos?

A: Yes, Legos. Especially Bionicles.

Q: What’s your favorite Lego model and video game?

A: My favorite video game is “A Link to the Past,” and my favorite Lego model would be some Bionicle—either the Limited Edition Toa Likahn model or one of the Inika.

Q: What did you do last summer?

A: I went to San Francisco for a week with my family and my cousin, who was visiting from New York.

Q: Do you have any plans for the future?

A: I think I want to do something in computer science.
