When she’s not writing stories or designing pages, Emma enjoys playing the violin, studying for standardized tests she’ll probably never take again and watching reruns of “The Big Bang Theory” and “Seinfeld.” Emma has been playing the violin since she was 4 years old. In addition to being the concertmaster of the Country Day orchestra, she also plays first violin in the Sacramento Youth Symphony’s Premier Orchestra. Her favorite piece is Vitali’s “Chaconne in G Minor,” and her favorite players are Joshua Bell and Sarah Chang. Emma is a self-proclaimed Diet Coke addict and has been a vegetarian since the end of her junior year. Despite her love of music, Emma plans to attend medical school and become either an OB-GYN or forensic pathologist.
