The Fall Family Festival, usually on a Saturday, was moved to the same day as other events such as the Chalk Mural, Homecoming and Jog-a-thon, Oct. 18. The festival included a sack race, jump houses and booths in which students enjoyed arts and crafts. Student Council members provided face painting and handed out spirit items for the Homecoming games but did not hold the Council’s traditional car wash. There was a food section with popcorn, drinks and a barbecue cookout—students in the Cavalier Club ate for free. The raffle results from the Jog-a-thon were also announced during the festival.
