Senior Heidi Johnson qualified for the Masters meet on Friday, May 17, at Davis High School after competing in the triple jump on the second day of the Sac-Joaquin Section finals on May 10 at Chavez High School in Stockton.
Johnson achieved the feat by jumping 35 feet, 2 inches, placing fourth against athletes from Division IV and V schools.
“I was really happy to make it to Masters again, especially after having a poor start,” Johnson said.
