Inside info from senior Heidi Johnson: “This week has been a bit rough in general for our team, especially after going to Ashland, but I’m glad we had so many games to get back into the swing of things.

“We still had some ups and downs during this game, with missed serves, tight passes, etc., but that was because we’re still adjusting. We played better than our previous games this week.

“We’ll still need to be on top of our game and minimize the unforced errors heading into playoff.”

Inside info from junior Jewel Turner: “This wasn’t our first time playing this team, and we usually hold a pretty good lead on them throughout the game.

“We missed a few serves and shanked some balls, which is why the scores were closer than usual, especially in the third set. “

Next game: Tuesday, Oct. 16, against Sacramento Adventist Academy at 6 p.m. at home.
