Date: April 13

Opponent: Western Sierra Collegiate Academy

Final scores: 2-22 (Cavs’ loss)

Inside info (per junior Alex Rogawski): “We played very poor defense, were missing a couple good players – including (junior) Jack (Christian and freshman Michael Tovar) – and just weren’t very solid overall.

“Hopefully, when we have a complete team, we can win the next game.”

Inside info (per sophomore Max Kemnitz): “We weren’t as afraid of the ball as in previous games, and on top of that, we were making great plays in the field.”

Next game: Tuesday, April 17, at 3:30 p.m. against Western Sierra Collegiate Academy on their field.
