Girls’ basketball suffers two defeats in Live Oak Tournament games

Date: Nov. 30

Opponent: Marysville High School

Location: Live Oak High School

Final score: 34-51, Cavs’ loss

Inside info per senior Yasmin Gupta: “They were really aggressive and at one point quadruple-teamed me, which made playing hard and tiring.” Gupta finished with a team-high 25 points

Coach’s comment per Lationia Pitts: “We really need to work on having all players at the game. Out of 14 players only nine were there and only two starters. I feel (the game) would have been a different outcome if we had everyone, but I’m proud of the work everyone has put in.”
