The girls’ basketball team demolished Cristo Rey, 47-9, on Jan. 9.
The Cavs outplayed the Saints in almost every way, especially when it came to their passing and layups.
The Saints have played only three games this season, which could have explained their lack of experience, captain junior Julia Owaidat said.
“We played really well, but since they were an easy team. I was afraid that we would play down to their level,” Owaidat said.
However, because of good decision-making, the Cavs were able to keep their giant lead throughout the game.
The girls’ next game is at home, Jan. 12, against Sacramento Adventist at 6 p.m.
