Boys’ soccer tramples Buckingham

The boys’ team soccer won against Buckingham, 5-0, on Oct. 28.

In the first matchup on Oct.10 between the two, Country Day won 6-0.

Senior Ethan Ham and freshman B.J. Askew scored two goals apiece in the victory. Sophomore Emil Erickson added a goal of his own to the win.

The boys’ win against Buckingham was attributed to Country Day’s communication.

“Really it was the communication that helped us win,” Erickson said. “Our passing was great too.”

The boys next play Cristo Rey Thursday, Oct. 30, in the final game of the regular season. The game will be a rematch of the Homecoming game tie.
