The boys’ soccer team trounced Buckingham Charter, 6-0, on Oct. 10.

The team had a 3-0 lead by halftime. In the second half, they scored three more goals.

Freshman B.J. Askew led the high-scoring affair with two goals. Seniors Erik Morfin-Ruiz, Ethan Ham, Skovran Cunningham and freshman Stephen Wang each scored one.

“We played pretty solid,” Cunningham said. “We gave up few chances at our goal and dictated tempo throughout the game.”

The boys’ next game will be at Homecoming on Friday, Oct.17, against Cristo Rey.
