The boys’ soccer team won 4-2 against Trinity Prep School, Sept. 29.
Senior Ethan Ham led the charge with two goals scored.
Freshman B.J. Askew scored a further goal to break a then 2-2 tied game, then senior Erik Morfin-Ruiz scored.
Team captain Morfin-Ruiz said that Askew and Ham both played very strong games, standing out among their peers.
Ham, also a captain, concurred, saying that Askew scored “a nice goal when it was tied,” to give the Cavs the lead.
Coach Matt Vargo added that Morfin-Ruiz played excellently, as well as fellow senior Keegan Crain
The team next plays on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
