The varsity volleyball team won their game against Wilton Christian on Sept. 23 at Wilton.
In the first set, SCDS won 25-9.
SCDS won again 25-11 in the second set.
In the last set, varsity played an extremely close game but pulled ahead, 25-20.
The girls’ secret to success this time was communicating.
“We stayed calm and collected when they (Wilton Christian) had a serving run,” freshman Katia Dahmani said.
The gym at Wilton Christian is carpeted, but the players quickly adapted to the new floor and were able to play normally.
The next game will be Friday, Sept. 26, at home against Valley Christian.
