Boys’ soccer remains undefeated, winning against Our Lady of Guadalupe

The boys’ soccer team won in a 5-0 blowout against Our Lady of Guadalupe on Sept. 16.

The first half opened with three Cavalier goals in 18 minutes, the first and third by senior Keegan Crain, and the second by freshman Steven Wang.

However, the keeper from Our Lady of Guadalupe played well, stopping several Cavalier shots.

This soon proved to be to no avail, as senior Eric Morfin-Ruiz popped one in, to make the score 4-0 in the 30th minute.

The second half wasn’t as action-packed, with one goal scored by Crain to complete his hat trick in the final minutes of the game.

Coach Matt Vargo attributes the team being undefeated through five games to their offense, stating that the team attacks every chance they get, leading to many goals.

The team next plays on Friday, Sept. 19, at Forest Lake.
