Boys’ soccer team remains undefeated as they crush Vacaville Christian

The boys’ soccer team beat Vacaville Christian in an 8-1 blowout on the road.

The SCDS offense was strong, with freshman B.J. Askew scoring two goals, bringing Askew to a total of six goals in the last two games.

Junior Diego Perochena and senior Ethan Ham scored one goal apiece, and senior Eric Morfin-Ruiz had a hat trick (three goals in a single game).

But sophomore David Boley attributes the Cavalier dominance to more than just their own offense.

“[Vacaville Christian] had no offense at all,” he said.

The team next plays on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at home against Our Lady of Guadalupe at 4 p.m.
