Loss to Western Sierra extends losing streak to six for girls’ soccer

Despite efforts to win their first game, the girls’ soccer team lost 2-4 against Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, April 22.

This is the second loss against Western Sierra. The girls lost 1-7 on March 18.

With this loss, the Cavs’ losing streak now extends to six.

However, the girls didn’t seem to mind losing the game.

“We have spirit, and we stay positive,” freshman captain Natalie Brown said. “When we score, it feels like we’ve won the game.”

Brown scored both of the goals in the second half. One was a corner kick, and the other was a penalty kick.

The next game will be at home on Friday, April 25, against rival Buckingham Charter.
