Girls’ soccer can’t score against Trinity, loses 0-4

Edit: The previous version mentioned a game against Buckingham that will take place on Friday, April 11. The game has been rescheduled.

The girls’ soccer team lost to Trinity Prep in its second league game, 0-4, April 8.

It is the Cavs’ second scoreless game against Trinity, having lost at home 0-2, March 21.

The Cavs had only 11 players, which was their biggest issue—the minimum amount of players on a team to play is 11.

“We held the team 0-0 for the first half, but in the second half we lacked energy,” freshman co-captain Natalie Brown said.

The goalie was sophomore Emily Berke, who has never played goalie until this year.

However, Brown said Berke did well.

“Berke was an incredible help in both halves of the games. Without her the score could’ve of been way worse,” Brown said.

The girls are 0-2 in the league.
