Girls’ soccer team falls to Trinity Prep, 0-2

On March 20, the girls’ soccer team was in a scramble to win its first game of the season. Although it was only their second league game, the Cavs wanted to rebound.

But that didn’t happen. The girls lost their second league game at home to Trinity Preparatory School, 0-2.

“In the first half we had the advantage, but we didn’t take enough shots and didn’t follow the shots that were made,” sophomore Emma Belliveau said. “We could have gotten ahead, but there just wasn’t enough aggression.

“And in the second half it seemed like everyone got tired.”

The girls face Trinity again on Tuesday, April 8.
