The boys’ soccer team battled the Buckingham Knights on Oct. 9, beating them 2-0.
This is the second time the Cavs have bested Buckingham in the last three weeks.
Juniors Erik Morfin-Ruiz and Keegan Crain each scored a goal in the first half.
“(Our) team played very well defensively,” senior Eric Hilton said. “We also played very well offensively and did well on our goal kicks, (one of) which Morfin scored off of.”
The team was missing senior Patrick Talamantes and junior Dominic Stephen—two of the starting players.
The boys next play Faith Christian, whom they tied in their first game, at home on Friday, Oct. 11.
