Middle, high school music groups to perform on Dec. 14, Dec. 15

Middle and high school concert band, garage band, chamber music, orchestra and choir will perform in the gym on Dec. 14 and on Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. Only the parents of the students performing in each concert are allowed to attend due to  COVID restrictions.

On Dec. 14, the garage band will perform first followed by the middle and high school concert band. 

The garage band will perform:

  • “Sunshine of Your Love”
  • “Celebrity Skin”
  • “Gone Daddy Gone”
  • “Xmas Time of the Year”

The middle school concert band will perform: 

  • “Jingle Bell Rock” 
  • “White Christmas” 
  • “Intensity”

The high school concert band will perform: 

  • “Possession of the Nobles”
  • “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”
  • “Brazilian Sleigh Bells”

Finally, the middle and high school concert band will finish together with an American classic, “Mighty Mite.”

Chamber music and middle and high school orchestra will perform in the gym starting from 7 p.m on Dec. 15. 

The chamber music group will perform first followed by the orchestra and choir with the pieces:

  • “Shostakovich’s five pieces for two violins and piano” 
  1. Prelude 
  2. Gavotte 
  3. Elegy 
  4. Waltz
  5. Polka 

The high school orchestra will perform: 

  • “Libertango” 
  • “Christmas Pipes”
  • “March of the Nutcracker”

The middle and high school orchestra will perform the following pieces together: 

  • “Trepak From Nutcracker”
  • “The Bringer of Joy” 
  • “Chant De Noel”
  • “A Joyful Christmas”
  • “A Quiet Christmas”

The choir will perform: 

  • “You Will Be Found”
  • “Happy Xmas”
  • “All I Want for Christmas is You”
  • “Rockin’ Holidays”
