While the 2018-19 Winter Ball may not have a theme, it is sure to be night to remember. The ball will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Tsakopoulos Library Galleria (828 I St.) in downtown Sacramento from 8-11 p.m.
The venue, located across from Cesar Chavez Plaza, features an expansive ballroom with high ceilings and a multitude of windows, allowing guests night views of Sacramento.
“The Tsakopoulos was chosen as the venue this year because we wanted a really nice venue, and this offers us what we need,” student body vice president Blake Lincoln said.
Lincoln encouraged students to attend in their best dress, as this will be a formal event and venue.
Tickets cost $20 if bought by Friday, Feb. 1. Students also must register guests by this date. Tickets will cost $25 at the door.
If students drive, they are encouraged to arrive early as the Kings play at the nearby Golden 1 Center, and parking will be scarce.
The dance will feature a DJ, but the Giggle and Riot photo booth will not be present.
Students must arrive by 9:30 p.m. if they wish to enter the venue.
