June graduates returned to campus on Dec. 21 to discuss their college and high school experiences.
The panel took place from 12:45 to 1:55 p.m. in the MP Room. The seniors also had lunch with the alumni beforehand.
English teacher and director of college counseling Jane Bauman had set up the panel, attended by 17 alumni. Their colleges are Stanford University, Bates University, Boston University, University of California Los Angeles, Loyola Marymount University, Santa Clara University, California Polytechnic State University, New York University, Mills College and the University of Oregon.
“I will ask (them) questions about their experiences in college,” Bauman said beforehand. “It’s very informative for students and sometimes rather entertaining.”
The panel was open to all high school students. Bauman asked most of the questions because of limited time.
Former college counselor Patricia Fels established the panel, which Bauman hosted for the seventh time.
