On Oct. 14 the winners of the Spirit Week costume contest were announced by head of high school Brooke Wells. High-school and middle-school advisories dressed up as characters from movies on Oct. 12 and were judged by Wells, head of school Lee Thomsen,  director of special programs Joy Pangilinan and middle-school head Sandy Lyon.

The top three middle-school advisories and the top three high-school advisories won Chipotle catering, cookies from the Cookie Connection and pizza as their prizes, according to junior Nina Dym, chair of events.

Second place: Sue Nellis’s advisory “The Godfather”

First place: Patricia Jacobsen’s advisory “Monsters University”
