On Sept. 3, several SCDS students and middle- and high-school studio art teacher Patricia Kelly went to Fremont Park to make SCDS’s annual chalk square for Chalk It Up. This year, the group chose to create Rhett Thurman’s “Indian Dancing #2” for their square. Chalk It Up will be open all Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 3-5, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
