Next year’s positions for The Octagon were announced April 28.
Juniors Marigot Fackenthal and Adam Dean will be the new print editors-in-chief, and sophomore Sonja Hansen will be the online editor-in-chief.
Freshman Chardonnay Needler will be the business manager, and freshman Jack Christian will manage social media.
Dean, Fackenthal, junior Nicole Wolkov, sophomores Ulises Barajas, Allison Zhang, and Annya and Katia Dahmani, and freshman Mohini Rye will be page editors. In addition, Rye will be the cartoonist.
Section editors-to-be include sophomore Jake Longoria (sports), Annya (feature) and Katia (opinion/editorial).
The copy editors will be junior Quin LaComb (print) and sophomore Sahej Claire (online).
LaComb and junior Mac Scott will oversee advancements in multimedia and technology.
