Here’s a guide to the Homecoming festivities on Oct. 23 and 24.
Friday, Oct. 23
NAHS Chalk Mural
Time: 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
This year’s artist is Diego Rivera, a Mexican muralist who does pieces based on the working class. He has many murals throughout San Francisco and is a leader of Mexican cultural heritage. This year there will be 11 squares.
Pep Rally
Time: 12:20-1 p.m.
To start, high-school students will accompany lower schoolers to the gym. During the pep rally there will be videos dedicated to the soccer and volleyball teams. Lower-, middle- and high-school students and faculty members will participate in activities such as a relay race, a Cheeto toss and a dating game. The band will perform as well.
PA Fall Family Festival
Time: 3-6 p.m.
Activities include crafts, bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, games and a photo booth.
Sports Boosters’ Barbecue
Time: 4-8 p.m.
Location: Blacktop
JV Girls’ Volleyball
Opponent: Valley Christian
Time: 5 p.m.
Location: Gym
Varsity Girls’ Volleyball
Opponent: Buckingham Charter Magnet
Time: 6 p.m.
Location: Gym
Boys’ Soccer

Saturday, Oct. 24
Homecoming Dance
Time: 8 – 11 p.m.
Location: MP room
Theme: Music festival (a la Woodstock and Coachella)
Attire: Casual
Price: $10 until Friday, $15 at the door (free for Cavalier Club members)
