On Sept. 15 the green fields of Ancil Hoffman Park transformed into a battleground: the Black Team (freshmen and seniors) and Red Team (sophomores and juniors) were poised to battle it out at the annual SCDS Ancil Hoffman Capture-the-Flag game. Four quarters and one hour later, the Black Team was victorious, 383-187. Both teams had the potential to capture a maximum of 20 flags as well as various trinkets and faculty trivia. After the game, students had a barbecue lunch provided by the Parents’ Association. Full, tired and splattered in paint, the students ended the day by splitting into groups to discuss their upcoming class trips.
