Molly Gherini is a freshman who has recently returned to Country Day from Christian Brothers High School.
Q: How long have you gone to Country Day?
A: Nine years.
Q: Why did you leave?
A: Well, I left because the high school was too small.
Q: Did you like Christian Brothers?
A: Yeah, I liked some parts. I liked the big atmosphere, meeting new people, and I also liked having religion class.
Q: Why did you come back?
A: For the smaller classroom size (because) I learn better in a smaller class. And it’s a better school, academically.
Q: How is CB different?
A: It’s bigger. You don’t have a lot of freedom. And CB is Catholic.
Q: What’s your favorite subject?
A: English. I like reading and writing.
Q: Do you have any hobbies?
A: I like to ski and run.
Q: Any pets?
A: Yes. Two cats and a dog.
Q: Siblings?
A: I have a brother and a sister, Megan and Thomas.
Q: If you could travel anywhere right now, where would you go?
A: Probably Singapore. I’ve always been interested in going there, and I’ve never traveled in that area.
Q: What’s your favorite restaurant?
A: Hot Italian. It’s in downtown and it’s so good.
Q: What was the most exciting thing you’ve ever done?
A: Probaby singing with a jazz band over the summer. It was a camp. It was in Sly Park, and it was nerve-wracking.
Q: What’s your favorite movie?
A: Probably “We’re the Millers.” It’s really funny. I’ve seen it many times, and each time I watch it, I laugh.
